This free update expands the world of Smalland, introducing subterranean exploration, new enemy encounters, and magical crafting systems tied to brand-new crystal resources. Players across Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 can play The Underlands update today.

With the launch of The Underlands, players can now explore a vast underground world hidden beneath existing biomes. Get ready to go spelunking! The update introduces various distinct caverns beneath the forest, swamp, and desert, each filled with unique quests, creatures, and hazards. Players can also establish new tree encampments within the caverns, offering fresh base-building opportunities.
Powerful new foes such as the whip spider and albino scorpion await underground. In addition to new locations and enemies, The Underlands introduces an entirely new resource—crystals. There are multiple types of crystals to collect, some of which are tied to seasonal changes. With them, craft magical items, create new totems, and increase your armor variants.
Smalland: Survive the Wilds is a multiplayer survival adventure game where insects become adversaries and survival requires adaptability and teamwork. The Underlands update is available now for all players.
