Update on Maximum’s arbitration with former CEO Christina Seelye and former COO Thierry Bonnefoi

As previously communicated by press release on 4 October 2024, Maximum Entertainment AB is in arbitration with former CEO Christina Seelye and former COO Thierry Bonnefoi who are claiming in total USD 7,756,300 and SEK 36,814,459 related to earn-outs for the acquisitions of Maximum Games, Inc and MG Team, Inc.

Maximum Entertainment AB has now filed its statement of defense denying the entire claim. Maximum Entertainment has also filed a counterclaim against Christina Seelye and Thierry Bonnefoi requesting repayment of previously paid out earn-outs and interest, amounting to USD 6,214,232.

The basis for Maximum Entertainment AB’s position includes, inter alia, Christina Seelye’s neglect of fiduciary duties as CEO.

A timetable for the proceeding has been set, and the final award is expected no later than November 28, 2025.
